Koh Chang is a paradise island in the Gulf of Thailand. In contrast to the well-known holiday islands of Phuket and Koh Samui, Koh Chang is not overrun by mass tourism.
This is also because Koh Chang has no airport and can only be reached by ferry. The crossing takes 30 – 40 minutes, although cars are also allowed on the ferry. Further down in the article we give a link to the timetable.
What is special about Koh Chang are the mostly pristine white sand beaches:
• White Sand Beach (central, offers 5* hotels)
• Khlong Prao Beach (further south and quieter)
• Lonely Beach (amazing beach, simpler hotels)
• Klong Koi Beach (remote beach, more for young people)
We recommend our guests to book a hotel on White Sand Beach and then take scooter trips to the nicer beaches.
You can also get to sights such as the Klong Plu Waterfall or the adventure park Tree Top Adventure Park by scooter.
Culturally interested single men travelers won't miss out anything as there are temples Wat Salak Phet or Wat Klong Son to visit.
In any case, you should make a stopover at Mu Ko Chang National Park View Point and enjoy the breathtaking view.

Arrival
To get to Koh Chang, you can either fly to the nearby town of Trat, with airlines such as Air Asia or Bangkok Airways. Air Asia is the cheaper airline of the two.
We recommend our limousine service to our guests, which takes 5 hours by car from Bangkok to the pier. It's also not faster by plane, if you count the time for check-in and baggage claim. The ride costs about 4000 THB or 110 €.
Thai holiday companions for Koh Chang

All single men for whom the island of Koh Chang is not untouched enough have the opportunity to take trips to the uninhabited neighboring islands of Koh Mak, Koh Kut or Koh Kham. Your Thai companion will be happy to book day trips for you in the local shops, including diving or snorkeling equipment, for a good price.
