From the airport to the hotel the cheapest and easiest way is to go by public taxi. The days when one was ripped off by taxi drivers are over. All taxi drivers at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport have to turn on their taximeter, which calculates minutes and kilometers exactly. The friendly lady at the taxi counter asks for the name of your hotel and for a fee of 50 THB (about 2 \u20ac) you get a taxi assigned. Please always pay attention to the following sign Public Taxi, which leads directly to the taxi desk.<\/p>\r\n

The ride from the airport to your hotel will not cost more than 400 THB (approx. 11 \u20ac).<\/p>\r\n

In Bangkok we recommend our guests the Center Point Sukhumvit Soi 10. The hotel is located centrally in the heart of Bangkok's business district and offers spacious rooms and a rich continental breakfast buffet. Many guests choose - not knowing it better- hotels near the Royal Palace and the touristically spoiled Kao San Road. This area is not recommended, as its connection to public transport is very bad (no subway, Skytrain) and the area is well known for rip off taxis. The Sukhumvit area, which also houses the Center Point Hotel, offers great transport links and taximeter taxis, making it easy to get trough Bangkok quickly and cheap, regardless of the traffic situation.<\/p>\r\n
